Founded in 2024, Kola Publishing was established by primary school teacher and numeracy education expert, Kirsty Greenwood.
Kirsty has spent years helping young children learn essential numeracy skills in her classroom in East Lothian, Scotland, and often wished that there were more fun and engaging ways to help her students learn.
Thus began her journey into publishing, establishing Kola Publishing to create a series of books, the ‘Story Times’ series, aimed at helping children learn their times tables in a more exciting way.
The books are exactly what Kirsty wished she had through her years in the classroom: playful stories matched with vibrant illustrations that make practising times tables so fun, children will hardly notice they are learning.
Kola Publishing books are currently available to booksellers, libraries and educators through IngramSpark.
